Here’s the World’s Largest Orchestra

The conductor  has a sensor attached to each hand each sensor controls the movement of a laser beam each laser beam mimics the movement of the conductor’s baton or hand/hands the lasers can be seen from wherever the focal point can be seen The orchestra – line of sight all musicians around the harbour in line of sight will play in unison as conducted all these musicians therefore are technically in one orchestra additional laser and lighting displays can be included to enhance the experience smoke machines can be strategically placed in locations where wind disruption would be minimal The orchestra – venues around the city the conductor and laser display will be video streamed to   various venues venues such as Martin Place, Darling Harbour and   Parramatta Park all musicians will play in unison guided by the conductor all these musicians therefore are also technically in   the same orchestra The orchestra – venues at home the conductor and laser display will be televised and/or video streamed venues will also include centres for severely disabled and the elderly all musicians will play in unison guided by the conductor or just have fun all participants will be encouraged to upload their efforts to social media as proof of their participation all these musicians therefore are also technically in   the same orchestra The orchestra – venues around Australia the conductor and laser display will be televised to   various venues venues will include clubs and shopping centres all musicians will play in unison guided by the conductor all these musicians therefore are also technically in the same orchestra The orchestra – venues around the world the conductor and laser display will be streamed to various venues either live or phased to coincide with international time zones - for discussion venues where Australians gather will be first choice sister cities such as Auckland, Nagoya and San Francisco will be invited to collaborate as well as any other cities that may have an interest all musicians will play in unison guided by the conductor all these musicians therefore are also technically in the same orchestra The world’s largest orchestra held in Queensland included some 7200 musicians. This is a record that can be broken. Yes! Poetic licence will be necessary particularly with the choice of symphonies. Yes! Our conductor will need to have a sense of humour.
